Heat the ghee or oil in a pan on medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add the chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
Add the minced garlic, ginger paste, and green chillies. Sauté for a few seconds.
Add the tomato puree and cook for 5-7 minutes or until the oil separates from the mixture.
Add the coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and garam masala powder. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add the paneer cubes and salt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add the heavy cream and stir well. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
